Users of medicinal cannabis report a notable enhancement in their insomnia symptoms due to cannabinoid usage, and this research indicates a potential benefit of predominantly indica strains in comparison to predominant sativa strains and pure CBD in this particular demographic. Cannabinoids are regarded as effective across various genders and age groups (with no notable distinctions observed among different product forms), methods of ingestion, or gender categories. We analyzed data from 991 medicinal cannabis users suffering from insomnia across a total of 24,189 recorded sessions of cannabis usage.<\/p>\n
Studies involving animals revealed that the modulation of the endocannabinoid (ECB) system impacted both activity and cognitive abilities, with some effects seemingly reliant on the light\/dark cycle. This review intends to encapsulate the latest research regarding the ECB system, as well as the influence of cannabis on sleep regulation and cognitive functions.
